CONSULTING SERVICES FOR 5 HIGH SCHOOLS FOR FREMONT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT • Location: Sunnyvale and San Jose, California • Size: 1,000,000 SF • Cost: $5,000,000 • Services: The work has included the preparation of drawings depicting specific roof membrane installation requirements, assisting with resolving field problems, and providing quality control field reviews.

McCONE HALL RE-ROOF DESIGN FOR UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY • Location: Berkeley, California • Size: 30,000 SF • Cost: $550,000 • Services: The work has included the preparation of drawings depicting specific roof membrane installation requirements, the preparation of detailed drawings depicting requirements for the installation of sheet metal flashing material, and the preparation of detailed specifications outlining specific requirements related to roofing materials and application of roofing system.

BALBOA HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATIONS FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT: The project included a detailed field survey to evaluate the need for specific repairs and/or renovations of existing restrooms, science labs, and the exterior facades. The project was divided into several bid packages and design documents illustrating the detailed scope of the work were prepared. Design work for separate bid packages included new windows, exterior painting, science labs upgrades, and the renovation of toilet rooms.

LOUISE LOMBARD HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATIONS: The project included a detailed field survey to evaluate the need for specific renovations to make the facility accessible to the disabled and handicapped. Design work included renovation of the existing stage, building access, and other miscellaneous items to provide easy access for disabled and handicapped persons.

LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL AND LAKESHORE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RENOVATIONS: The project included interior renovations to two existing school buildings. The existing cafeterias and kitchen areas were renovated to meet current building codes and provide a pleasant environment. Design work included new ceilings and lighting, new floor finishes, replacement of door hardware, and patching and painting of walls.

CLEVELAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RENOVATIONS: The project included a detailed field survey to evaluate the need for specific renovations to make the facility accessible to the disabled, upgrading the multi-purpose room, and upgrading the computer lab. Design work included renovation of the exterior entry, multi-purpose room, and computer lab.

SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY MACQUARRIE HALL RENOVATIONS: The project included development of contract documents for renovation work of a 6 story academic building that houses science laboratories, classrooms, and administrative offices. Architectural, mechanical, and lighting systems were renovated. Architectural renovation work included new ceilings and lighting, and replacing floor and wall finishes. Exit corridors and mechanical systems were upgraded to meet current building code requirements. During construction the architect provided construction management services including full-time supervision of the work of the contractor.
